Just so you know:
1. I’ve now read 118 pages of the 871-paged book I need to read for my Stanford conference. (I just like writing Stanford over and over again. It makes me feel smart. And special.) The book really has 936 pages if you include the index.
(Perhaps you can’t tell from here, but this really is a very large, dense book.)
2. I’ve figured out how to get photos from my phone onto my blog–so some of my older posts now have photos to go with them. My favorite is my student/superman photo. (You have to scroll down to see it.)
3. I’ve now caved into peer pressure, or should I say “kin pressure,” and started a Facebook account.
4. I’m not reading my 871-paged book because of things like texting, updating my blog, reading others’ blogs, or playing with Facebook.

It sounds like you are having a good summer. Minus the book you have to read. Don’t you think it takes a while to adjust into freedom? It’s like the Holocaust survivors who couldn’t handle real food when they were liberated. We go so fast and do so much, it’s hard to do less. And then about the time we get used to it, we go back to school. Me, personally, I’ve been sleeping a lot. Like a lot.

It’s sad that I’ve been looking forward to this freedom and then not quite sure what to do with myself. Like you, Jenny, I too am very well rested.

You made it! Are you surviving? I personally think you’re going to have a blast and feel incredibly smart when you are done. We have to get together when you get back- with Jenny- before I go to school and ALL of my money goes into the coffers of the UofU law school!
